Parish Family VISIO Day

This process marks a significant moment, as both parishes unite for the first time to explore our shared hopes and aspirations. Using a synodal listening approach, all parish members are invited to come together to begin discerning where the Spirit is leading us. The guiding question for our conversation is: How might we articulate a vision for our future that embodies what we share as a Jesuit Parish Family?
Such a vision will underscore the realization that while our missions may be expressed differently, there exists a common Ignatian spirit binding us. This mutual understanding will bolster our mutual support as we work towards the goals of our respective parishes. Ultimately, this unified vision will amplify the mission of each parish, refining our alignment with the Spirit’s guidance. Here are the dates for the Visio Days. We hope you will join in this unique opportunity for dialogue and discernment.
- Saturday, February 24 from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at St. Xavier Church
- Saturday, March 16 from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the HUB Commons at Xavier University
- Saturday, April 13 from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Jesuit Spiritual Center
If you would like to contribute to this visioning process, it is necessary that you attend the first Visio Day session on February 24. Each Visio Day will build upon the previous one as we aim for a shared vision statement for the Jesuit Parish Family.
