This Mother’s Day, Lydia’s House (www.stlydiashouse.org) Catholic Worker will be our monthly outreach collection. They are collecting to put up a new, full perimeter fence around their shelter, with the hopes of keeping kids safely inside and unwanted guests at a distance. The cost of this project is $20,000, and their hope is to raise as much as possible this month in order to schedule a fence installation for early summer. It’s a big year for Lydia’s House as they celebrate 10 years of hosting homeless families, and your gift will go a long way to making their shelter more beautiful and hospitable to the young moms and kids they serve.  You can donate to support Lydia’s House here or by mailing a check to the Chapel with Lydia’s House in the memo line.
