Faith Formation at Bellarmine Chapel is among the strengths that support long-time members and attract new ones. Our members at all “ages and stages” are committed to ongoing, lifelong Faith Formation. This program can begin in preschool Montessori, our Growing in Faith Together for children in grades K through 6, the formation of our youth through Youth Ministry, and our adults with various backgrounds, life experiences, and desires for spiritual growth.
Many Faith Formation opportunities are offered on Sundays when our community from 75+ zip codes gathers for worship. Since individuals and families travel and come together to celebrate the Eucharist, they are eager to participate in our programs at our Sunday Masses. Our lectionary-grounded parish faith formation flows into and out of our shared experience of the Sunday liturgy.
Our parishioners are intentional about learning and growing. We are fortunate to have an abundance of Faith Formation resources among our gifted parish members. They offer bible study, prayer practices sessions, and companion others through The Spiritual Exercises. Situated within the Xavier University community, we enjoy the benefits of the Theology Department and the Institute for Spirituality and Social Justice, including faculty who are parish members.
We intend members to have a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, ongoing conversions living out our baptismal call to discipleship and giving witness to God’s abundant and unconditional love. Led by the Spirit, we are people of mercy, compassion, and justice. Our Catholic Christian Faith Formation is rooted in the Ignatian Christian life and spirituality tradition.
