Embracing God’s Creation is a new series of presentations, immersions, and prayer experiences focused on the ecological spirituality of Laudato Si’ co-sponsored by the Cincinnati Jesuit Family.

The first speaker will be Dr. Vincent Miller of the University of Dayton, delivering a presentation entitled A Trinitarian Spirituality of Attentiveness on Thursday, September 15, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel. This session will explore “integral ecology” – the central teaching of Laudato Si’ – as a trinitarian spirituality of relationship. Integral ecology offers a vision of creation as a web of relationships in which we participate, a way of seeing that is attentive to connection, and an ethic that seeks to preserve, restore, and deepen ecological and social relationships.

Please RSVP for this and our other fall events on this formA flyer to share with others is available here. Reach out to Bellarmine Chapel’s Director of Sustainability and Social Mission, Tim Severyn, with questions.
